The role is with a leader in Camera Chipset development that has received many awards for its pioneering CMOS technology. The role will lead a team (from multiple locations) and will be coordinating with international lens vendors as special optical applications are jointly developed and integrated.
Responsibilities:
The Director is responsible for module resources; guide team members on module design, technology development and optics sourcing. Additionally, the Director will drive the module team, from multiple locations, to develop module for reference platform and product promotion. This will include:
*quality evaluation
*test solution
*lens vendors management
*module vendor management
*develop new module technology to enhance product performance.
Requirements:
- BSEE or MSEE or related
- Strong knowledge on image sensor and camera module
- Minimum 10 years design and production experience for the camera module for mobile phone
- Minimum 6 years management experience
- Good experience on camera module assembly, bonding, and optical performance
- Ability to manage priorities and be flexible
- Proven leadership skills and ability to motivate others
- Ability to communicate technical issue with customers and the field
- Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills
- Domestic and international travel is required.
