Key manufacturer of components to the Optoelectronic / LED / Solid State lighting industry for Medical, Automotive, Consumer and Electronics applications is seeking a strong Sales / Business Development Director to develop their market share globally through driving a team of international Sales Managers. This is a senior Director level position and requires the ability to manage international reports and Sales Reps as well as handle own accounts. Home based in the UK, preference for the South.
Requirements:
-Proven Sales background from the LED / Optoelectronics industry
-Business Development and demand creation experience essential
-Proven sales record demonstrating your ability to achieve and exceed targets when managing own direct accounts
-Technical degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Responsibilities:
-Support sales of product range to existing customer base
-Develop existing accounts, territories and new business
-Build strong relationships with all the key stakeholders
-Drive team to maintain current excellent sales growth figures
This role has Global responsibility and can be considered by someone looking to 'step up' or has managed a small team of country specific Sales Managers and Representatives previously.
