Strategic Sourcing Manager

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead cross-functional projects and revolutionise their supplier engagement processes.

As the Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

• Developing Cross-Functional Strategies: Initiate and lead cross-functional projects involving product management, R&D, sales, legal, order fulfilment, procurement, and materials departments to foster collaboration and achieve common goals.
• Long-Term Supply Commodity Strategy: Devise and execute a comprehensive long-term supply commodity strategy. Conduct landed cost modelling, supplier opportunity assessments, and supplier financial analysis to make informed decisions.
• Negotiations and Contract Establishment: Lead negotiations with suppliers and establish long-term contracts to ensure a cost-effective and reliable supply of commodities, including battery test and charging equipment and chamber solutions for 3PP suppliers.
• Pricing Strategies and Cost Reduction: Develop and manage pricing strategies and reduction programs through supplier development processes, audits, and continuous improvement activities to drive down total cost.
• Risk Mitigation and Business Continuity: Drive risk mitigation and business continuity strategies to ensure a stable supply chain and minimise disruptions.
• Supplier Selection and Performance Management: Lead supplier selection activities, identify alternative sources of supply, and conduct periodic supplier business performance reviews.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience in procurement, supplier management, and strategic sourcing in the Automotive and/or electronics industry.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and German
